Ice skating is classified as a level 1 – low risk – activity by the new guidelines and with our class size limits and safety procedures, we can confidently provide safe figure skating programs. After passing Basic 6, skaters move to Pre Free Skate, where they will learn beginning jumps including half-rotation jumps, flexibility and balance moves, and one foot forward and backward spins. Skaters who register after 4:30 on a Friday or over a weekend will not be permitted to skate on a Monday am or pm freestyle session.
